HOUSE BILL1244 STUDENTS

All eligible Poudre School District high school juniors and seniors may apply to take college courses at Colorado State University or Front Range Community College. Students can receive dual credit from both the college and PSD. Financial reimbursement is provided after successful completion (with a C grade or better) of the coursework, and all courses must be approved by PSD's director of curriculum.

Once grades are available at the end of the semester, it is the student's responsibility to submit a copy of their billing statement together with their grades to their school district for reimbursement.  Students should contact their school district for further information about reimbursement.

The Center for Advising and Student Achievement is the advising office for these students.  Their majors on ARIES are listed as "House Bill."

If the student is an athlete, they should contact their high school athletic director to ensure that their athletic eligibility is not jeopardized by taking college credits during high school.

Should a House Bill student complete a University Withdrawal, the family is responsible for any tuition and fee charges applied.  They will not be reimursed by PSD since they did not complete the course(s).

For further information, contact the Office of Admissions.
