Math Placement Exam (MPE)
You may take the MPE one time remotely and two additional times in a proctored setting on campus:

On-Campus MPE Schedule
You must bring your CSU ID. The MPE is given in Weber 138. Allowed time: 2 hours, 20 minutes
MPE walk-in hours (no appointment necessary):
Summer Session, 2009 (June 15 -- August 7)
9:00am -- 1:15pm Mon-Fri
Fall Semester, 2009 (Beginning August 24)
9:00am -- 4:00 pm Mon-Fri
6:30pm -- 9:00 pm Mon-Thurs
Closed during University holidays and breaks.
Exam must be submitted by closing time.
Description of the Exam
The Colorado State MPE consists of 50 multiple choice and multiple choice/multiple response questions and covers topics in College Algebra, Numerical & Analytic Trigonometry and Logarithms & Exponential Functions. Calculators are allowed but you must use a calculator provided by the PACe Testing Center when taking the exam on campus. Reference materials may not be used during the exam.

PACe Minicourse Orientation
Students enrolled in PACe minicourses (MATH 117, MATH 118, MATH 124, MATH 125, MATH 126) for the Fall semester must attend the PACe orientation in Weber 136 during the first week of classes. There are two orientations scheduled each hour (9am-3:30pm).
