Pre-Physical Therapy Club

Welcome! The Pre-Physical Therapy Club is a registered organization for any student who is interested in the field of Physical Therapy. In addition, many students who are exploring the fields of sports medicine, chiropractic, and other therapeutic professions may find this club valuable and are welcome to get involved.

Members visit a PT clinic.

The Club features:

• Regular meetings
• Guest speakers from the therapeutic community
• Opportunities to meet other students who may be taking the same courses as you
• Participation in volunteer and community service projects
  (Easter Egg Hunt for Special Needs Children with Pre-OT Club, Cans Around the Oval, Meals on Wheels, etc.)
• Premier Members may participate in shadowing opportunities with PT professionals in the community
  • Premier Members have earned 180 points by:
    • Attending general and/or committee meetings: 5 points
    • Participating in club events: 25 points
    • Participating in the Annual Easter Egg Hunt: 50 points
    • Volunteering for a committee: 10 points
• Opportunities to visit University of Colorado Health Sciences Center School of Physical Therapy
• Meet with representatives from DPT programs around the country
• Opportunities to learn about the requirements and admissions process for PT School
• Advice from the Pre-PT Club officers
• A fun, social, extracurricular activity!

All meetings are held the first and third Tuesdays of the month from 6:00 to 7:00 PM in (unless otherwise noted below).
