Closing the Office in the Evening

A student assistant is assigned each weekday evening during fall and spring semesters to:

  • close windows in 1st and 2nd floor reception areas, resource room, restrooms on all three

           floors, and in the east and west stairwells

  • turn off fans/air conditioning units in 1st and 2nd floor reception areas and the resource room
  • ensure that the coffeepot in the resource room is off

 

Each full-time staff member is responsible to:

  • turn off the lights in their office
  • close and lock the door to their office
  • turn off the fan/air conditioning unit in their office

 

The last full-time staff member on each floor is responsible to:

  • turn off the copier (1st and 2nd floors)
  • turn out the hall light
  • close and lock the east and west entrance doors
