A hold may be a
Math hold,
Composition Hold,
Financial Hold,
Discipline Hold,
E-Mail Hold,
Immunization Hold,
Intent to Graduate Hold, or Late Registration Hold.
Academic and administrative offices can place HOLDS on a student's registration, and when the the registration system is accessed, the student will be prevented from registering or changing her/his registration schedule.
The mathematics requirement hold is placed when a student has not completed 3 credits of mathematics necessary to graduate and has reached, or will reach at the end of the current semester, 60 credits.
The composition requirement hold is placed when a student has not taken the composition course required to graduate and has reached, or will reach at the end of the current semester, 60 credits.
Failure to meet a payment deadline will result in a
Financial Hold, which will prevent adds for a registered student.
A
Discipline Hold is placed and removed by the Office of Judicial Affairs.
ll students are required to provide a valid e-mail address upon admission to Colorado State University. A HOLD is placed on your account until this is done.
Students who have not submitted an immunization record to Hartshorn Health Center will have an
Immunization Hold placed on their account.
Once a student has reached 90 completed and enrolled credits, the Degree Office should have a graduation intent form for that student. If not, a hold will be placed on their account.
A late registration fee of $50 is assessed for adding the first course on or after the first day of classes or for late adds after the registration period.
