If it is before the end of the initial add date, you can withdraw from
RAMWeb without the course appearing on your transcript. If it is after that date, but before the withdrawal deadline (close to midterm), you still withdraw using
RAMWeb and will receive a 'W' on your transcript.
After that point, you can be granted an incomplete 'I' in the course for severe illness or professor discretion.
Without extenuating circumstances, likely you will need to do your best to work with the professor to make up work, etc. You may need to take a D or F. Don't despair! Repeat-Deletes are there to help if you can't work something out.
