How can a student have a "math hold" removed?

If a student has completed more than 60 credits and has not completed 3 credits of math s/he will have math hold. To remove this hold, the student must go to the Records and Registration office and register for math. Once that is done, the hold will be removed and you can register for classes.

Students who have not placed into a math course at CSU will not be able to register for math. Therefore, it is important to review for and take either the Math Placement Exam (MPE) or the Entry Level Exam (ELM) in a timely manner.
