Academic Difficulty:

Is it possible for a student who has a family or medical emergency to inform all of her/his instructors of the absence?

A student who will miss classes due to an emergency should call the Center for Advising and Student Achievement (CASA) at 491-7095 and request an absence letter. The CASA staff will send the absence letter, which outlines the student's responsibility for completing all missed work, to each of the student's instructors.
