Career and Major Exploration:

How can a student who is "undecided" choose a major?

Academic Adviser in the Center for Advising and Student Achievement (CASA) are especially skilled in guiding students through the process of major exploration.

CASA advisers will review an Exploratory course list with students and can review Programs of Study for majors in which the student may be interested. The CASA adviser will also provide Key Adviser information for students who wish to explore particular majors more in-depth.

Students may also want to go to the homepage of a department in which they are interested. Many departments outline concentrations, areas of faculty research and student organizations in which their majors participate.
