Directions to Colorado State University

Fort Collins is situated 60 miles north of Denver, just 4 miles west of the I-25 corridor. If you get lost, or have questions, don't hesitate to call our office at (970) 491-6011.

Driving Directions from Interstate-25:

  • Follow I-25 to Prospect Road (exit 268),
  • Follow Prospect Road West past College Ave. to Whitcomb St. (approximately 4.5 miles),
  • Turn right on Whitcomb St, which will become Meridian leading into campus.

 

Parking for students living on campus: Please park in your designated residence hall parking lot.

For students living off campus:

  • After entering campus on Meridian, continue to the 2nd four way stop
  • Turn right onto Pitkin
  • Take your 1st right into the Z parking lot #505. This is a free lot until classes resume on August 24, 2008.
  • After parking your vehicle, head north past Braiden Hall, through the Library parking lot to the Lory Student Center.
  • The parking lots on both the north and south sides of the Lory Student Center require parking permits. You will be ticket if you park in either of these lots.

 

Note: Metered spaces are available and do require payment. Please note there is a 3 hour time limit on these spaces. Vehicles parked in spaces with an expired meter will be ticketed. Due to time constraints, these spaces are not recommended for Orientation programs.

Air Travel
If you are traveling by plane, the best airport to fly into is Denver International Airport (DIA). The trip from DIA to Fort Collins takes approximately 1 hour 30 min by car.

Shuttle service is available to bring visitors to campus from Denver International Airport. You can arrange shuttle service by contacting Shamrock/Airport Express at (970) 482-0505.
