Family Member and Guest Preview
We offer specially designed Fall Preview Orientation sessions August 19/20, 2008 and August 20/21, 2008 for parents and families. Fall Preview is a one-and-a-half day program that provides a vital introduction to the Colorado State community and we strongly encourage you and your student to reserve and attend a session this summer.
There is a $60 orientation charge for each person attending Fall Preview.
Orientation is about giving students the opportunity to learn more about Colorado State, to meet with an academic advisor and register for fall classes (if they have not already done so). It is also about families learning more about academics and student involvement at CSU, meeting with your student’s academic advisor and learning about how to support your student’s growth and development as a college student.
Students and their families who have attended Preview have repeatedly told our staff that coming to Preview made the first year at Colorado State University much easier—students knew what to expect and where to go for assistance. Students also report feeling more comfortable in the Colorado State University community and making connections with other students, faculty, and administrators. Families felt more connected and knowledgeable about resources and how to successfully navigate through this time of transition.
Please reserve your session today—we do not want you or your student to miss the Orientation experience.
