Directions to Colorado State University

Fort Collins is situated 60 miles north of Denver, just 4 miles west of the I-25 corridor. Preview is hosted in Braiden Hall, close to the center of Colorado State University! If you get lost, or have questions, don't hesitate to call our office at (970) 491-6011.

Driving Directions from DIA:

    Option 1: Take Peña Blvd to E-470 Tollway N (exit 6B). You'll come across two tollways (totaling $4.00 – cash only) before you reach I-25 (exit 47).

    Option 2: Take Peña Blvd West . Exit at Tower Road and turn right, going north. Turn left onto 104 th Ave , going west. Exit onto I-25 and turn right, going north.

    Driving Directions from I-25:

    • Drive north on I-25 to Prospect Road (exit 268)
    • Follow Prospect Road west to Whitcomb (about 4 ½ miles; the 2 nd traffic signal past College Ave)
    • Turn right on Whitcomb Street (which turns into Meridian Ave on campus). After the first four-way stop, continue on Meridian Ave (this road curves to the left; you will now be on campus and should start seeing signs for orientation parking and check in).
    • At the next four-way stop sign, turn right onto Pitkin Street
    • Braiden Hall will be the second building on your left. If you need to drop off any luggage, you can drive to the east side of Braiden and park for a few minutes to unload your luggage.

 

Parking

Once you have dropped off your luggage, park in the lot on the west side of Braiden Hall (between Braiden and Aylesworth Halls). If this lot is full, please park in the lot located diagonally southwest from Braiden Hall. Look for parking signs designated for those with "Z" permit (please do not park in "A" parking, you will receive a ticket in this lot). There are two entrances to the "Z" lot accessed from Meridian Avenue and two entrances to the "Z" lot accessed from Pitkin Street. Once parked, we recommend leaving your car parked since all presentations are within a reasonable distance from Braiden Hall.

Note: Metered spaces are available and do require payment. Please note there is a 3 hour time limit on these spaces. Vehicles parked in spaces with an expired meter will be ticketed. Due to time constraints, these spaces are not recommended for Orientation programs.

Air Travel
If you are traveling by plane, the best airport to fly into is Denver International Airport (DIA). The trip from DIA to Fort Collins takes approximately 1 hour 30 min by car.
